Embracing the Halloween Spirit 🎃

Embracing the Halloween Spirit 🎃

Dear Friends,

The older I get, the more I find myself getting into the Halloween spirit! There’s something about the crisp autumn air, the vibrant fall colors, and the fun of spooky season that brings out the kid in me. This past weekend, we took a trip to a local pumpkin patch. After walking up and down rows and rows of pumpkins, we ended up with a mix of classic round pumpkins, some funky gourds, and a few mini ones for added variety. Hay bales were delivered to the house.

Back home, we spent the afternoon setting everything up. We positioned 2 costumed skeletons on the hay bales right near the front door so they’d be the first thing anyone saw. Then we arranged our pumpkins around them, using the mini pumpkins to add some detail. We even set up a string of twinkling lights to add a little glow in the evening. By the time we were finished, it was hard not to feel proud of our little Halloween scene.

As the sun started to set, I took a step back to admire our work. It’s amazing how a few decorations can bring the Halloween spirit to life and make your home feel so festive. And seeing neighbors stop to admire it has made the effort even more rewarding.

If you haven’t done your outdoor Halloween decorating yet, I highly recommend it! Head to a local pumpkin patch, let your imagination run wild, and embrace the season. Whether you’re a Halloween enthusiast or just getting into it, there’s something special about transforming your space into a little slice of spooky fun.
